District of Columbia Championships

The First Baptist Church of the City of Washington, D.C., hosted an amazing tournament. The church generously provided a beautiful playing site, first class conditions for the players and their parents, large trophies and other awards for all of the students who competed and a free pizza and juice lunch and it did all of this without charging the kids any entry fee! A whopping 255 kids came to play.

Seventh Grade: Warren Brace
Eighth Grade: Duong Nguyen
Junior Varsity: Andy Samuelson
Varsity: Desmond Joseph
Premier: Johnny Sadoff

Trophies also were given to school teams. Team champions were:

Junior High: Deal (Washington, DC)
High School: Covenant Life (Gaithersburg)
